What are Hungarian .HU domains - characteristics
Hungarian domains .HU are the main and very popular internet name extensions in the country of Hungary. The .HU domain is the national domain, which originated from the ISO code (HU, Hungary). The cost of registering one .HU domain name for one year is 9,50 GBP, plus any tax. Registration of .HU domains is easy and usually takes below 24h. The registration time may be prolonged because there are additional requirements imposed by the .HU name registry ISzT Egyesület on applicants wishing to register their domains in the .HU extension. With our Local Agent service for .HU domains, you can register these Hungarian domains practically without hindrance. For .HU domains, it is included in the registration price (at no extra cost). Registered names in the .HU extension must be between 2 and 24 characters long and may contain national characters (IDN). Unfortunately, usually all names in the .HU extension that have less than 4 characters are already taken or blocked by the name registry. The maximum registration period for a .HU domain at Intername is 10 years. The applicant for a .HU domain name receives SPAM protection for his or her email address from us, or optional all data protection via our Agent solution. Transferring your .HU domain will reset the current domain expiry date. A new domain expiry date of one year forward from the date of transfer will be set and any unused period will be forfeited. The transfer of a .HU domain costs the same as its annual renewal, that is 19 £.
